Connecting People with a Naturally Inspiring and Relaxing Space to Create

We offer 3 Types of Residencies: Creative Residencies, Studio Residencies, and Co-Working Residencies.

All Residencies will be hosted in the House of Shapes, a 3-bedroom house with 1 full bath. Guests have full access to all of Quinta Kaleidoscope’s amenities.

Co-Working Residencies

The Shapes House is ideal for any digital nomads or remote workers looking for a beautiful location to accomplish their work. On your breaks you can swim in the pool and walk through the orchard and your weekends can be filled with trips to Lisbon and beach visits. If your work provides you the freedom to choose where you work from, then Quinta Kaleidoscope is a beautiful space to do so and simultaneously enjoy the bountiful adventures and experiences Portugal has to offer.

Creative Residencies

The house of Shapes serves as a space for an individual or group to pursue any creative endeavors. There is a cozy living room with windows that can be opened to let the sun and cool breeze in. Walking outside brings you to an orchard that is alive with inspiration. Quinta Kaleidoscope is located in the small town of Vendas Novas and only an hour from Lisbon, Evora, Praia de Comporta, and many other beautiful locales of Portugal. With its location, Quinta Kaleidoscope offers a cozy and natural space to get in touch with your creativity, while providing the freedom of access to various locations within Portugal.

Studio Residencies

Beyond the orchard is an annex with a functioning bathroom and electricity. It is an empty concrete room that is perfect as a studio space for any artistic endeavor, from painting to sculpture and everything in between. Steps across from the annex is an open air shed that can be used for drying any projects and a few meters further is an open field that is perfect for larger projects that can’t be contained to one room. Our Studio Residencies provide artists with a nature filled and quiet space to work on their projects. Quinta kaleidoscope’s location offers the option of adventures across Portugal, making artistic solitude a continuous choice.

Pricing:

The House of Shapes rents for 150 euros a night. As an alternative we also rent out the individual bedrooms for 70 euros a night. If only renting one room then you will likely be sharing the space with another artist, creative, or Portugal enthusiast.

  • Qunita Kaleidoscope is two houses under one roof: The House of Shapes and the House of Colors. For smaller groups and individuals, the House of Shapes is used.

  • A residency must be for a minimum for four days.
